Welcome to 2309 Sqn RAF Air Cadets.

2309 Squadron is one of 23 Squadrons that form Plymouth & Cornwall Wing which are part of the South West Region of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets (RAFAC). There are 40 Wings in 6 Regions which make the Royal Air Force Air Cadets. Together with the RAF Section of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) the RAFAC is part of Air Cadet Organisation (ACO) which is a youth organisation sponsored by the the Royal Air Force. There are over 40,000 cadets aged 12 to 20 years in over 900 Squadrons in the UK. In line with the Corps the Aims are: Promote and encourage a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force among young people Provide training which will be useful in Services and civilian life Encourage the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship But the most important part is having fun and meeting many new friends.
